How long is it? Does the whole thing get cold or just the end as it heads into the evap?

well, about half of the cap tube gets cold to the touch, and the rest is cool. not sure on length as it is whatever the dehumidifier had on it, id say about 2 meters and probably .031 hard to tell as it is coiled. just seems a little strange to me, and it dosnt go straight into the evap, it goes into a copper tube that ataches to the evap (which is aluminium) i think i am going to strip it all and rebuild it soon, shame as it gives pretty good temp's compared to my last chiller.

I get condensation on the last few inches of my cap tube.

its probably ok in that case, it was just the first time i noticed it and i hadnt really heard of it before so it kinda worried me a little, thought i might have had a blockage somewhere or something..lol..

it means you don't have enough cap tube I believe and the refridgerent is starting to evaporate in the cap tube.

Umm, my chiller has 1.50m of 0.026 captube. And it gets frozen over the last few inches too, so you mean that i should shorten this? I thought it was too short :).
