The VNF-250 is very nice, also you should consider the Epox 8KDA, Giga's K8NSP.

I got one sitting in a corner, bad vdimm, bad bios bandwidth wise. vnf-250, if you don't like the volts as is, easy mods :D

Or wait for the DFI:D

the dfi is supposedly gonna be shipping the 2nd of september, thats not very long imo. and from what i've seen its gonna be one of the best, if not the best socket 754 overclocking mobo.

Mine works with BH-5, but not very well. 200mhz was not stable on RAM but I got 2.9Ghz with 3700 and stock Mach I with bad contact pretty easy. Memory vmod for K8N Pro killed MB quickly. Only 2.8v available in BIOS for VDIMM.

Dunno bout the booster working on this board.

I bought a epox 8KDA3J for £70 from komplett.co.uk Along with a 3000 NC for £109. I can hit 2.4 and I just did the vdimm mod which was about as easy as any mod gets. My kingston BH5 does 240 2-2-2-6 2T 1:1 with 3.2v.

The epox is a cheap easily avaliable (UK) and easy to mod board. Just go down to maplin and ask for a 10k multi-turn.

Just my 2 pence

Only available from 1 stockist which actually isn't in the UK & EPoX UK won't support it only EPoX Nl.

I've just ordered a KV8 Pro rev 1.1. but it was very nearly a VNF3-250 (& still might be if the ABIT doesn't do the business).

Read the forums. There is No GREAT 754 board, all have some issues from user to user..

If you cant wait 2 weeks for the DFI, Then Read the forums and pick a mobo out.

:slobber:

cool results!

I don't think you should push more than 1.7V for stock cooling.. no more than 1.75 for WC.

754pin is single channel, so really you only need 1 good stick of memory..

But if the bh5 clocks around 250fsb~ 225 or so then i wouldnt sell it period. if you do toss them on ebay as you will make a good buck just for it being bh5.

the ocz runs good on the 64 systems just hit the search for threads..
