Hey guys, Im new to the board but have been reading about phase change systems for awhile on this forum and some others (BTW this one is definitely the best;) )...but on to the subject, I want to build a water chiller and am wondering if I should start with an ac unit or dehumidifier, I can pick up an AC unit from Wally world for $70 5100btu, but I have also seen dehumidifiers on ebay for ~$70 with shipping and wonder what the advantages/disadvantages would be compared to each other...? I was looking at 35-40 pint units which seem to be rated the same wattage as 5000-6000 btu AC units so I figure pretty much the same cooling? any ideas...
