Exit, stage left... - 2Cool @ 6:00 pm EST
Well, its been a fun 5 years and 8 months guys, but its time to move on. After what feels like a millenium, in web-years, I am throwing in the towel and moving on to new endeavors. Since I began way back in January of 1999 when there were only two other stores on the internet for cooler gear, ComputerNerd (folded in 2001 or so, redone in 2003, I think) and 1CoolPC (real good people, definitely throw them some business when I am gone), things have grown immensely. More and more people opened online case mod stores, and finally the big players noticed the market and jumped in themselves. Now several of my distributors run their own stores, and I just can't compete unfortunately. So its time to bow out gracefully while things are still good, and just use the experience and memories for my next adventure.
So now 2CoolTek.com is up for sale on Ebay, and all remaining inventory is on sale for 50% off till its gone. All sales will be final, and it will be first come, first served for item sales. If the items on your order have already sold out by the time I work down to them, I will just decrease the order by those no longer available items. I will try to stay on top of item inventory, but expect the better parts to disappear quicker than I can turn them off. You will only be charged for stuff that is available and shipped in your order.
Its been fun, and I enjoyed the hell out of all my case mod adventures as well as all the cool people I have had the chance to meet on the way. I do appreciate all of my customers, and hope to leave you guys with good memories of me and the store. You all take care, I'll may be back in some other computer related biz... ya never know. So, for now, to use some immortal words of parting, so long and thanks for all the fish...
They dont have much left. But they were one of the first places around for the overclocker.
http://www.2cooltek.com/ and http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/
I've ordered from them on and off for 5 years + I remember my first purchase of a slot 1 waterblock. So much easier than making your own and the hours involved.
Examples. Alpha 8150 Heatsink for FX/A64/opteron $25, $40 everywhere else at least. 8045's for $14
http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/72/483.htm?898 No fan for $21 http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/72/481.htm?236
Thermalright NB1 northbridge cooler $9.
http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/67/500.htm?898
Cheap SATA color, UV reactive cables $2.50
http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/57/498.htm?898
Buying that OEM SATA drive with no SATA cable usually costs you $7 @ newegg, since they know you need it and have to pay the $7, Kinda like those USB cables for printers @ bestbuys and such that run you $24 for a dam USB cable!!! Since it's not included.
Copper Ramsinks $5 with fragtape already on them.
http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/67/428.htm?898
Passive Zalman Chipset/NB cooler $4 and comes with Thermal Adhesive!!
http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/67/277.htm?898
But look around, And good luck to the Owners of 2cooltek, They even have their name going up for sale.
