dfi infinity or lanparty is the way to go for socket A.

K7s5a power circuitry can't take such a high clock.
I had one running a tbred @ 2333MHz, and it was crapping out, i was using 333FSB setting in windows. it wouldn't old 2400 in no way.

i had 2400+ with k7s5a before, max i could get was 2.2 ghz stable

i was running this proc at 2646 mhz at 2.15v with honeyX bios 147/147x18(i have unlocked the proc) 48C water cooling. i had cheap powmax PS 480watt rated but it start to smell. changed it with 550watt super flower. 2.2 volts is the max that i was able to hit before the overvolt protection kiks in. i installed heat sinks on the mosfet's and extra 60mm fan to blow over them but it's over yet. this board served me well long time

2.2 should net you way more MHz than 2.6. Hopefully on an Infinity or NF7-S 2.0 you'll see better results.

Lucky you! I had one of the first revisions.
Try setting 133 in bios and using 166MHz thru speedfan.
I could do it, and it was stable, but had to use cas 2.5-7-4
