I hate the Giga compared to the DFI, the DFI is very solid and easy to clock.

the question is HOW much more? we just need a good s939 mobo, have you notice OPP has over 100MHz higher cpu clocks and higher fsb on his dfi for s754? whats 100MHz of cpu power worth? 800 marks? I know around that since my friend eshbash gained 1k marks with 100MHz cpu clocks and 10fsb higher. 40k is not that far off honestly ;)

Opp, 4 questions ...

1.) How much did it cost to build all the cascades you are using?

2.) Why not get a company that deals with cryogenic freezing, design a unit which employs liquid helium as the heat transferring agent??? ;) (then you can become probably the first human being to own a retail CPU which is a super conductor)

3.) How much is your electric bill when you run the cascade systems???

4.) Are you the one causing blackouts in LA every summer??? ;)

the fx55 is 130nm I believe, just a 200MHz higher verson of the fx53. but the 90nm winchesters comming the same time should look real good. I know they have only 512k cache but the ondie memory controller has been tweaked and with higher clocks, they should own the fx53.

As for macci, does it matter how hot its outside when hes using a casade? It would only matter with air cooling me thinks and the florida summer heat isnt gonna distract me from my own 3dmarking ;) We do need some more action in the ti4200 class as well :D ;)

2001 is all cpu except for nature anyway so faster cards might get them 400fps in nature but would do very little, if any to the dragons and other tests. There is supposed to be a s939 mobo by dfi, this should help big paired with a fx55 or winchester 90nm then 40k will be easy and many people will take that down

Hey there macci, good to see you. I guess 38k woke you up;)

The evap temps are doing about -75c at full load.

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Seems like it works out to about 23 3DMark03's/Mhz with X800XT-PE. (that would mean 870 for 20K)... not likely.

However, may I ask why your mem is clocked so relatively low? I pressume you have some heatsinks on them (not that it would make a big difference). Since you have the cascade, wouldn't the heat be conducted away from the mem chips away through the pcb?

ATI/nVidia should get you working in their QA department. You could pick out the cores/mem out of thousands of samples and OC to kingdom come for company promotion. ;)
