Ive set it all up (everything on stock cooling as a test) did all the settings in BIOS, went into WinXP setup and found the F keys did work on my USB keyboard, so i couldnt agree to the license agreement. I turn off computer, found PS2 adapters for the keyboard and mouse, turned it back on, and now it boots, but then just goes:

Verifying DMI Pool Data . . . . . . . .

And thats it, it just hangs there.

Any ideas? Clearing CMOS didnt work and i dont see what change between the first and secod time i booted (first time it said the same thing, but instead of just skipping to the next line it said successfully and carried on normally)

Help! :(

argh, solved my own problem.
For anyone that was interested, windows had obvious done something to the HDD so it had a file or two on it, so motherboard was trying to boot from it and failing miserably cos there was anything on there.
Solution was to just get it to boot from the CD straight away.
I feel a bit stupid now, but im sure there's plenty more of that to come lol.

EDIT - told you there was more to come: Just realised why the F keys didnt work, i didnt realise this new keyboard had an F-key lock LOL. *slaps forehead*
