It seems that you can post in the classifieds without 100 posts, was there a rule change?

Is it possible for you guys to integrate a hack to now allow anyone with <100 posts to view the classifieds?

just curious how that minimum 100 post count came about?
I've been here quite a while but mainly just read the forums

The reason it came about is the count was set at 100 because it was felt that with 100 quality post, that would establish you as a nontroll or a reputibale person not out to get someones money or equipment for free. I think that sums it up the best my feeble brain can handle.

Used to be a hack that without a 100 post you couldnt see the thread at all

It was protect the members from random people offloading junk hardware here. People could just create a new account and pass off dead hardware. Now we require you to become a active member without spamming to get the post count.
