I am running a 226W TEC and 4 fans that each draw 1A off a single Meanwell S320-12. The unit is quite hot to the touch and the thermo-controlled fan is ALWAYS on. I am wondering if maybe I need to get a second and connect them in parallel to share the load. Is this possible? I'm not sure I can connect two of these in parallel as they are DC and the voltages would have to be exactly matched. I suppose it would be as simple as connecting a +V on the new unit to a +V on the existing unit and the same for the -V connections. Can I do this?

yea should be no problem, just make sure that only 1 unit is grounded. ie, the 2 units cant touch each other, and only one unit is grounded to the wall.

Like this? Will this give me double the watts at 12V? As you can see, the TEC and the 4 fans all run at 12V...I just want more amps.

That doesn't look like it will work. Load balancing is going to be a problem.

Yep, more research on this tell me "no." This will not work. I am now looking at the SP-480-12 but am having a hard time locating a distributer is the USA. I will sell the SP-320-12 if I can get this.
