been a while since i had to lap a heatsink.... i run swifty water coolers now.
but where and what do you use to lap heatsink?
actually supplies where to buy, and techniques. etc?

Hi JBell,
just look for fine sandpaper grid 600 to 1000. i used nail polishing pad which i "borrowed" from my mum. you can buy fine sandpaper in almost every hardware store (electrical, car parts store etc).
i lapped my heatsink by making circular/ "8" shaped moves. don't press the sandpaper too hard against heatsink.
but where and what do you use to lap heatsink?
ermm, back of the heatsink of course;)
