Don't think there is a place to enter coupons under Healthcare Clients...

I'm not even sure how/if it will work with this Healthcare thing, let us know how it goes...

Dell Home has the ATI Radeon X800 Pro 8X APG 256MB Video Card for $371 - auto 10% = $334. Add the Kingston 128 MB Secure Digital Card for $32 - $15 rebate and apply coupon code $3?L4K4M92KX0V for $30 off $400. Final price will be $321 w/ free shipping.

:) Sweet

I just talked to Dell, and believe it or not, they really DO have these in stock. The bad news is that unless you really ARE a legitimate healthcare client, and can prove it, this price isnt available and they wont ship the order.
However, it IS available for $460 something, plus tax (for many states). I just placed an order for a total of $489.73 including tax and shipping. I have an order number and a guarantee that it will ship within six business days or less. I can live with that. All in all, a very good deal for a great card that isnt available anywhere! And that takes care of a critical element for my soon to be built pc.

Still a very nice price. I considered buying it and selling the 6800U I just bought, but since I play Doom3 and COD mostly (One prefers Nvidia, the other has Features only on Nvidia) and I really don't need the hassel of reselling, I'm sticking with nvidia.

man I would snap one up in a hreatbeat if they would let me.
You don't suppose that the x800 pro's they are selling just might be VIVO's do you?

i ogt a confirmation email today.

It said that It would not ship until the 25th, or arrive until the 30th.

My card has not been charged yet.

total charges with tax (!) was jsut north of $430.

Significantly more expensive than the x800 dell deal, or the sub $400 Gt's that are about, but then the XT is meant to be significantly better.

and still, this is way cheaper than I can find an XT anywhere else online. $479 plus shipping (not in stock) is best I can see.

Still, I am not all that confident this order actually ships

ocmyface

yeha its been a good 6 days and no shipping or any more confirmation emails

i dont think my cards been charged yet either

__TRONIK__

it seems they tried to verify my card, got an email saying there was an unspecified problem - can't think what it would be, but on dell, in order to reprocess, you have to reorder, which you can't do since the item is no longer up.

on a related note, did you know that the $333 x800s at dell they had last week turned out to be VIVO's and modded. yeah Im kicking myself. Have a backordered gigabyte x800 vivo at buy.com I ordered for $397 shipped, who knows if it ever ships though.

Received mine on Tuesday. Flashed it with the gigabyte bios(thanks shroomy) and 16 pipes. Has 1.6 mem and rage chip etc etc. Great deal!

great....good for you.....grrrr
jk glad it was, I had wondered aloud whether it might be a vivo, but since they seem to cost more at retail I never though dell would ship those without even mentioning what it was. If only there had been a picture...

hmmm I got an email right after i ordered saying there was a problem with my card...it said to call in and have them fix it I would hav eto cancel and reorder....that was over a week ago. Today I got another emial saying the same thing - I assumed htey cancelled my order ahwile ago. Anyway teh email also said that it may be a dailly debit card limit that is the cause. I emailed back saying they could charge across two days - 2 mins later i got another email from an actual person saying that the card went through and the prder was going to be processed. I wrote right back asking if I would still get an XT this late, and also when they planned to ship - no answer...I think it was riiight when they are leaving work here on east coast, maybe ill hear tomorrow. So deal not necessarily dead for those who got in on it.
So now I have a $400 gigabyte VIVO and a true XT both preordered...lets see who ships first, or at all.

How many months has it been now? vaporware anyone?

hmmm good news...
i should know if mines being shipped in the next few days

did anyone get an email that said your order has been shipped or not? does anyone know if youll get one or not... this is just driving me crazy :D

its like christmas eve 10 years ago :D

__TRONIK__

dell says that your order will ship in 5-7 days, i bought mine like 5 days ago

__TRONIK__

drooool
wow this means if I order a DFI the XT should be here rounbf the same time!

on a downer not i hear the Nforce4 with SLI may be here by christmas.

Can't really say i am stressing it though since there are no nvidia pci-x cards worth getting yet, and the only ones capable of sli are likely going to be VERY expensive. Nope, IU have a couple of months to bench my ass off as a top system until things change....again.

at least any card of the new generation should be able to handle any game you can throw at it - any game even on the horizon.

cmon dell!

Mine was due to ship by yesterday, and I havent heard anything. And this isnt an upgrade, my 9700 Pro is dying, as we speak, with blue and yellow colors all over the screen, not to mention sometimes having to reboot several times before I dont get error lockups saying the drivers cant be loaded, contact ATI.
If this card from Dell dosent get here this week, I may be completely without a pc!

08-28-2004, 06:26 AM
has anyone had any success in cancelling their order?

__TRONIK__
08-28-2004, 08:58 AM
mine was taken like a week later like I said. There is no real need to cancel I think, i have orders in fo rthe XT and also a VIVO from buy.com
I am jsut going to let them go until one ships, then cancel the other. Course in the meantime, if a great deal comes along, ill grab it. I hear dell wont ship the $333 x800 pros until LATE OCTOBER which is ridiculous.
