ABit BD7II
P4 1.8A SL63X PackDate 23/07/02
Aircooled Coolermaster Heatpipe - 2700rpm fan
Corsair XMS3500

Looks like I got a sweet cpu at last...

Im not pushing it too far voltage wise atm because of the slow fan on the cooler. This is +15% in BIOS - 1.65v actual, if I wire the pins on the cpu and leave at 1.7v the system is stable for 24hrs of Prime95.
I think Im going to have to seriously consider a Protomeia - this cpu has the potential to be the fastest b0 stepping, non die-shrink 1.8A in existance.

Very nice, is that stable at full load?

Yes, ran Prime95 overnight and when I woke up I kicked off 3DMark as well and looped it for 3 hours, thats pretty stable in my book.

Mine did exactly the same...1.65vcore 167fsb with aircooling so I thought I would try it in my prometeia...Did 169fsb and not 1 mhz more...LOL

Be prepared to be disapointed m8 as I was...it may not do much more.

That's a real nice oc, specially for a 1.8a.
My first P4 was a 1.8a which oc for crap, 2.3 was max. So I sold it and got a nice 1.6a, which oc way better. But this was about 5 months ago.
Seems that the latest batches seem to oc very well.
