24" is HUGE

I consider 21" to be very big.

1920 x 1200 at 76Hz

sounds good. probably gonna be a pain for browsing, or desktop stuff, but it will be AWESOME for gaming. ;)

Wanna do a trade for that board/memory? ;)

Just kidding. Nice monitor though. Will be awesome for watching dvd's on your computer. Hope you have a nice surround sound setup to go with it.

well about gaming, you guys DO know that those monitors have a very bad response time compared to crt monitors, right?

afaik the first lcd monitor with a pixel response fasdt enough to play games without any problems was the samsung syncmaster.
on other old lcd screens you will note an pixel afterglow when you move quickly afaik.

this IS an lcd screen, no?

does a 21" W500 for $285 cad count as a good deal? heh...

They're all refurbs of course, just have a friend I know that sells refurbs for the company so I can pick them up before they get listed sometimes.. heh.

I got a refurb sony ergb500 or something refurb for $180 shipped american. 21" flat screen, its doin a good job so far. I dont think anything bigger would even fit on my desk.
