After downloading super pi and running the exec. it appears that the font it uses to display text is screwed up. See the image below. I've downloaded the program from several different source and I still get the same problem. Sn now I believe it is something wrong with my system that's causing it.

Maybe an incompatibilit w/ WS2k3? Any ideas?

Didn't you play with the notepad font or something like that? (or some system font, something like that :? )

I've just went into display properties> appearance tab >advanced and all the system fonts are set to Tahoma...and notepad font? I didn't know there was such a thing.

i gotta dig this up because it's about the only other place on the web that i found both "wingdings" and "super pi" on.

i'm having the exact same issue. all the characters in superpi are screwed up wingdings. since it was mentioned here, fonts in EVERYTHING else i can find seem normal. i even searched the registry and compared to a similar system to try and see what's going on, but everything matched...

On my old system, I used to get negative scores that were mistimed anyway....that was a pain. This just looks like a font problem that can be corrected.

Running any shell mods? Look in the fonts folder in control panel and see if Tahoma is in fact installed. I run PI on 2003 with no problems.
