whats one of the best mixtures for submerging the evap in? i cant use antifreez but anything else can be done. can you recommend chemicals and their freez points here? thx. also if there are more than one please list ratio.

Alcohol works well. Methol, ethol or isopropol.

windshield washer fluid, good to -40. Or denatured alcohol.
i wouldn't mix anything... use pure ethanol it's good down to (-114C)
