hey, anyone know of a good place to get a cheap mayb used 5000+ BTU air conditioner? im trying to make a chilled water system for under 80 bucks. so i need like a a/c under 50. thx

how do i go about finding an a/c? whats good btu? the more the colder it gets? and whats a good eer rating? 10+? i mean, i might be able to get a 12,000 btu ac with 10.3 eer, but i dunno whats best for water chilling. thx

You don't need anything nearly as large as 12000 btu. Many of the ones being made by people in this forum are from the 5,000 - 5,200 btu range.
