I see that many of you people use a relais to switch the pump on and of together with the pc.

Wel I have a tip for you guy's to increase the lifespan of the relais.

Use a VDR, Voltage Depending Resistor. As you guy's know, a motor is inductive. So switching it out wil cause an induction tension. This mostely (very) high tension can cause sparks between the open contacts in the relais. This will shorten the lifespan of the relais.

So using a VDR makes your relais loving you ;)
