kind of weird thread, but every site i found on the web just quotes the specs from the ocz homepage. i want to know if the EB series is rated at 1T or 2T by SPD? i plan getting a C0 cpu (CG Sucks :stick: ) , so it kind of matters to me because the mem controller is not able to change this timing.

thanks guys

I don't think EB chips like 1T... I tried running the same -5B C chips of Micron sticks on my An50R and it could only do loose timings of 2.5-3-3-10 even with 3.2v

Me too. 2*512 runs fine at 1t on msi.

I guess OCZ EB sticks have better PCB than Micron's.

LOL, WRONG! :P

CG is just the revision of the chip, is has nothing to do with whether it's a Newcastle (512KBL2), Clawhammer (1MBL2) or even crippled Clawhammer (512KBL2). CG just changes the ram timing in the internal memory controller in A64's to 2T from 1T. :)

yeah i know, i expressed it the wrong way.

there are clawhammers with only 512kb cache, i know.
but i will get a clawhammer with 1mb cache.
sorry :)

in fact, i just want to know if my EB will run at 1T or 2T using a clawhammer.

a note. you dont need to get a clawhammer to get t1 timing.. Just download the superb program by codered ;)

you are wrong.
you cant change this setting on a c0 AT ALL. not even using a64 tweaker

I believe there are alot more changes than just 1t to 2t. They re-tweaked the mem controller. That is why 2x512 work a lot better with the CG stepping than CO.

1T works fine for me. I can pifast upto 292 Mhz @ 3.0-2-2-6-10-16-1T with 3.2V. Maybe even more, but my proc in combinations with epox's OVP is giving me some trouble
