Hurry - they won't last long! I just bought 2. Ironically this power supply was reviewed by this very site about a year ago.

Sadly i found that out after dumping a 550 antec for one. Then to my fortron im happy with.

But i will give this TTGI this much credit. It's in a rig i built for a friend of mine, watercooled with a Swifty MCW462-UT waterblock with 226 watt TEC. I have the TEC on a Switch to "switch" between 5v or 12v to the tec. He has a 2.6 P4 @ 3.8ghz stable When on the 12v it runs down around +5 celsius, and @ 5v it's around +28 Celsius under load and to save power, This TEC pulls 24 amps on my gauges here.

The credit being for the TTGI is I ran it for a week straight running the computer and 226 watt TEC. I wouldnt recommend anyone doing it. But it handled it fine.

Dam they are so cheap im ordering 2, if only they had them the other day with the 450watts for $14.99 to save me some shipping$$.

Good find thanks.

I went ahead and grabbed 6 of them. Good price and their shipping is a lot cheaper than NewEgg when it comes to items like this.

I don't know about better, but for the price you can't really go wrong. If they are selling them this cheap, it's obvious that they get them at a really good price and are making a killing when they sell them at $89.00.

Your not going to fry your PC. I have 2 of them running: 1 is in my dually running 2 1800+ @ 2400 MHZ, 4 250G HD, 2 20G hd, raid card, 4600 gforce4, 3 cdroms (1dvdrw, cdrw, cdrom) couple of fans. The other runs my 3.0c with my 9800xt and Prom @ 3.87 stable. Nothing wrong with them, their just not a PC power and Cooling though. The first one I have been running since Opp did the review on the 520 almost 2 yrs ago. Been using it on a regular basis. Both of mine are the 520w versions.

No, I build Point of Sale systems and Video Surveillance systems, plus a few others. For the price you can't go wrong, and I will use them in systmes I sell to my high end customers. I was going to buy 10 more, but when I went back they had raised the price. I ended up buying 2 more of the 450w versions for $18.95 each though. They had a limit on 2 a day and a $50.00 minimum order limit. I had a hard time finding other items that I needed at their prices. With the business so competitive, you have to save every penny to make a profit with the cheap ass Dell and HP systems that they sell for $450.00!! Wouldn't buy one if my life counted on it!

I should of ordered more!! Screwed the pooch on that one. Like I said earlier, they must be getting them for a great price to be able to sell them for $29.95, and still make money. For that price, there definatley isn't a PSU out there that even comes close. Wonder if I can get a wholesale price from TTGI?????? Have to check into that.

I think TTGI has a lot of newer models with 120mm fans, I cant figure why these are so cheap? all mine came retail box. I've used 3 so far, all of them work great.

Last night when i was searching they had the 350 watt TTGI's for $14.99.

They have some Case ART TTGI 450's , custom design for $19.99, which are a steal also!!

Again if you dont know or a a PS noob!!

TTGI's arent generic. They weight at least 2.2-3 kilo's or 1.5-2 lbs more than a Antec 550, They all weight the same the 450's or 550 ttgi's. I would take them anyday over an antec!!!

You cannot find anything for double or triple the price the quality. except a good $40 fortron.

Whoever missed out on the $14.99 450's here's your chance again for $5 more. Shipping is so cheap its funny. I ordered 2 cases and 2 power supplies and shipping was like $16.

Newegg's cheapest price on shipping a case is $15!!!

Yeah, the Egg sucks for shipping on cases, and on PSU's! Have you noticed their $.99 shipping on MB? Looks like they are trying to nickle and dime a guy. They have also come up with a few $15.99 and $16.99 for cases.

That's why they are so cheap. I couldnt imagine anyone wanting one of these to show off. Too Ghay!!!

But they are killer supply's on the Power end!!! And still you will never get as good as a 450 watt for even double the price.

The knowledge of having such an ugly PSU will eat away at you and eventually drive you insane.

And please give Mr Bush some Pepto.

they were sold out :( but they said that I can suggest something else to replace it. I am sending a list of about:
1 520W one that costs $45
5 450W ones that cost $50
1 450W one that costs $40

Hope fully they'll let me get the 520W one for the same price as the 450W one I originally ordered.
