Same combo on Asus was unstable as hell, also my 9800XT artifacted which could mean it's going bad or maybe powersupply couldn't keep up, but that was even running FX at 2.5ghz.
I would think a TTGI would be ok, it's a solid unit and have had another of same unit in my Prometia rig for about 1.5yrs now pumping away great.
