Question on this - how well does watercooling work on the 6800s?

I'm using a Swiftech waterblock now - but only on a 5900xt. Looking at the MASSIVE HSFs being shipped on the 6800s, I gotta wonder how effective this GPU block would be compared to all that cooling! Especially the ram and such - going to need a LOT of aftermarket cooling for this card, no?

Anyone here try a card 'stock' and after watercooling? Do you see the same kind of temp drops typical of watercooling older cards?

Dangerden should have their 6800 Block out shortly. Check their website for more info. Seems that it covers the ram as well :)

Anyone have any idea how restrictive the new DD 6800 waterblock will be?

IMO GDDR3 will not really need to be wawa cooled, however I wonder how it will effect the over all overclockability of the mems?

Will a Maze 4 fit on the 6800?

Can some one please measure the distance diagonally of the mounting holes on the 6800 ?

Im thinking of jerry rigging something here before I buy the card!

no need to watercool the memory. why not pay $12 for the adapter kit and do what i did. saves alot of money and most likely will yield the same results as the DD block :D
