congrats, ive been driving japanese cars all my life, and the one chance i got to drive my friends corvette, whew. it was amazing the power of that thing when you touched the gas pedal. i bet your car feels the same. good ol american muscle.

well it is pretty fast for a v6...lol I swore that if i bought a new camaro that it would have to have a v8 or i wouldnt get it but then i saw this one and liked the fact that it was fully loaded, power everything had the chrome rims, ground effects, leather interior, convertable and only had 45,000 miles.. I also have a 1985 camaro with a rebuilt sbc 350 from an older corvette. It has a quadrajunk carb, shift kit and 3.72 rear end gears... Its pretty fast especially off the line but the new one is still actually faster.... Im getting a performance chip for the new one wich will add 40 horse. Im past my days of trying to race every car i see on the highway so the whole v6 thing is just fine, plus my insurance is already 190 dollars a month. if it had the v8 it would probably be well over 200 a month ...lol

Nice!!!, Convertible. last F body i had was a 91 formula 350 back in 1994, 250 horse, 8 port Nitrous fogger system on it.. Insurance was murder. I've got a friend that has a V6 2001 camaro. Dam things like 205 horse or something. for a V6, surprised me on the pickup it had.

Enjoy your new ride.

Exactly whats that supposed to mean..... any new car you buy that is run completely computerized, you can add horsepower and torque buy either hooking up a laptop to the onboard computer and adjusting air fuel ratios, timings ect. Adding a new performance chip or add on chips do the same.

But to a stock car its pointless. Oh well its your money...

well, most cars start out as stock then u do things to it to improve it.... this will be my firsat to make my "stock" car Not so stock anymore. gonna add a fully functional ram air hood, and a cat back system along with a complete audiobauhn sound system. Im not trying to build a racecar... just add a little snap to it is all.

Looks sweet. Too bad it isn't a Z28 or SS though :( LS1 rawks hehe. I just bought my 95 Z28 in April. I love the LT1.

i would have loved to have a z28 or ss. i had actually looked at a few but i liked the convertable and the body kit it had, so i decided i could live without it... I would love to drop an lt1 or even the ls6 in it but my insurance is already 200 a month so i guess ill leave it as is or just do a few minor upgrades...... hell i havent been trying to race anyone since i got it anyway... just been cruisin with the top down getting a tan :)
