Use a wildcard.... BH5* KV8* etc...
Vbulletin allows shorter search strings, but at the expense of forum performance, the shorter the allowed search string, the larger the database is...

because a 3 word search would take forever, create a huge database of "the" "was" "and" etc. Totally useless.
