Pretty good Rating: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller5783.html

AXMD: Mobile xp
1700+: 1466 default mhz
F: Socket A
J: 1.35vcore
Q: 100*C max temp
3: 256k cache
C: 266mhz FSB

Earlier 1700+ mobiles (late last year early this year) were mostly tbred A's. But they had vcore of 1.55v. These have 1.35v so I'd suspect they are B's or Thorns. Don't know for sure, however. Just a heads up in case anyone is setting up a cheap socket A system and wants to try these out.

You should know better than to trust the specs the idiot reseller tells you.

Well... I'm selling off my golden 2600+ xp-m... so I went ahead and ordered one of these to replace it in my micro-atx media rig. I'll let you guys know my results (Though bear in mind it'll be on a 20$ refurb M-atx integrated board).

It arrived today. Code is right. So it is a 1.35v chip with 256cache and 133fsb.

Mines an AIUHB and date 0322. I'll plug it in when I finish my lunch. I'm guessing it'll do ~2400-2500mhz on air.

Edit: Tested it. It's absolute crap. Wont take vcore over 1.85v or so. Won't break 2250mhz even there. Can't even do 2ghz at 1.50v. It has two minor chips on the core so it might be that... but I doubt it.

Well I wanted to see what it took to get 2ghz. at 1.60v set on my microatx rig (1.42v min) it's prime stable there. Temps are really really low considering how hot my room is and the 39cfm fan I'm using.

So I paid $42 for an unlocked 2400+ in the end. Not too bad.

if ur gonna get a 1.35v tbred, u might as well get the 35w 2200+ at newegg its not much more expensive that what u got

It's 25$ more. That's more than 50% more expensive. Of course it's barton and probably will get you an extra 100-200mhz on top of that. I guess it's debatable which is the better deal. But this is cheapest socket A chip I see for sale right now (same price or a little cheaper than 1.6ghz Duron) and it's unlocked and a Tbred B (so should always be good for at least 2ghz on air). If you just need a chip for a folder rig you have sitting around, this is probably the best deal. For a primary rig, then yeah... Spend the extra 53$ and buy a 2600+ I say.

Haha. I used the chip 2 weeks, took it out, and just put it back in and it's dead. Dandy.
