what is the best way to cut an 80mm hole in a case window?

ive heard that acrylic will crack very easily, any help/input would be greatly appreciated :)

If you just cut slowly and take your time the cut will come out fine. the cracking only happens when you push hard on the acylic while drilling and run the drill at a high speed. just apply a small amount of pressure and cut at a slow speed and youll be fine.

I cut a corner off an acrylic panel today, and yeah if you do it slowly and carefully it will work fine. I used a hacksaw. But then again it was easier for me cause I had edges to cut from.

Also, the warmer you keep the acrylic the better.

Like you said, you have to be really careful with Acrylic when cutting. The more teeth, the better in terms of choosing a blade. Also make sure the teeth aren't too long. Optimal tooth size for acrylic is about 1.5x the acrylic thickness.

btw.....we hope that you choke :D
(ocmyface will understand this, it is from a Radiohead song. It is NOT a putdown, threat, or flame)
