How much hetload does 10q of water add to a chiller? I need to find a good length cap tube (i think ill be suing .028)and evap for my chiller. Its a 5200btu a/c going to be chilling a 10q cooler and cooling a 2.8 p4 running @ 4 ghzish (i tried a calculator and it said 150w) + my nb + a video card ranging from 9600pro to a 6800u. Anyone have some lengths? I would like to put a length and not have to tweak it b/c that takes alot fo time and alot of brazing. Thanks!

btw i think ill be using r22 or propane

Using R22 or R290 (propane), 6 ft of .028 should be about right.

Keep in mind that on a chiller, the smaller the res the better. A large res takes a long time to chill down to temp.

most of the heat load that you have to worry about is the heat load added can be very dependant to the quality of insulation on the system, epically on the res.
