I had to make a choice between more computer stuff that depreciates instantly or get something new to have fun with...I traded the 2003 Mustang GT I bought last year on it...

HUGE difference from the GT to the Cobra...:D

The car of all cars. I bleed blue, I will have one, some day... some day.

The Porsche 944 Turbo i have now will have to suffice.

The dealer installed a Magnaflow 3" exhaust system and a catalytic X-pipe to go with it.

The mandatory K&N is also present and accounted for. Rough estimates place it at about 420 rear wheel HP (450-460-ish@flywheel).

I'm not too fond of racing domestic musclecars, but the Z06 Vettes are serious competition. The plain 350hp version of the Corvette, however, is not too difficult to beat with my car. They're OK and handle well, but for the $80,000+ CDN that one goes for, I expect more.

Sticker of the Cobra: $48,695...:)

Racing Vettes is not the main reason I bought the Cobra. I bought it solely for the purpose of annihilating each and every little tuner import I come across (I can't stand them with their dorky wings and fart pipes). I have nothing against the Civic or the Neon, but they are transportation...hauling the kids to school or getting the groceries. They are not race cars. I particularly enjoy beating on the Subaru WRXs (includes the STi) and Tiberons. Their punk drivers with their tinted windows, 5 inch tailpipe and racing stickers all over it, we all know who they are. They usually have no idea what a Cobra is and those who do recognize it, think it's just another regular Mustang GT with a few cosmetic upgrades.

They don't realize the error of their ways until it is far too late. Too often I heard them say in the past, "my 4 cylinder makes as much horsepower as your V8." Pretty smugly too, as they ignore torque completely. They think comparing a turbocharged engine to a naturally aspirated one is a perfectly fair comparison. OK, now let's compare...forced induction vs forced induction. The results don't tally as well as they'd like...:)

I'm not an arrogant person, but I cannot stand those who think they're the pinnacle of cool and all should cower in fear at the sight of their glitzy looking grocery-retrieval vehicles.

I think not...;)
