Hey all,
Managed to get my hands on a OLD window AC unit, pics attached just want to know from you guys if this can be used to make a chiller, it requires a significant ammount of cleanning.

are you going to submerge the evap in a res or make another evap for it with a smaller res
either way you should be able to get in the -20C even -30's with some tweaking
good luck:banana:

remove that evap fan and give us an ice show, you know you want to ;)

Hey Gary
Is this what you are talking about?
This copper pipe???
There is another VERY thin pipe that goes to the condensor what is that?

that's the capilairy tube

Through that tube goes the liquid :)

You need to remove the evaporator fan shroud and the evaporator fan blade.
