Hey guys,

I just received my 3rd SL6WU chip with FPO L349B, but its a 12 capper... Anyone have good results with a 12 cap? Does it really seem to matter that much? I had a 30 cap that did worse then a 12 cap but still, all good results ive seen have come from 30 cap processors...

Mine does 3600mhz with basic air cooling (7000alcu) on an is7@1.55V. Nothing to write home about but not complete crap either.

Generally, the 30caps seem to do better, but both can do pretty well. I have a 3.0C 12 cap that does, well, 259 1/1 at 1.675 prime stable, benched 2001se at 265, 3do3 at 263. All on air

Well, I thought i had a real gem, because the chip has been double priming for an hour at 240FSB at 1.44V underload. Now the strange thing is... I boot up at 1.525 V in windows at 250FSB and it freezes once I start prime. Now the wierd thing is, it freezes AT ANY VOLTAGE! I tried upto 1.725 and it still freezes.

Maybe its because the chip hasn't been burned in? Im not real sure why but doesn't make sense why it would boot up at default and get the same properties of failing at even 1.725...

Also im on WC so that should be a problem.

This is my 3rd SL6Wu BTW, have not had a real "good" one yet that was stable at 250.

Also, my old one ran at 250 atleast but usually crapped out after 2 hours heavy load so it shouldn't be the motherboard, an IS7 BTW
