OK, so I screwed up the BIOS chip on my NF7 V2.0, so I need to do a hotflash.

I've gotten my hands on a working BIOS chip, but I want to be sure, what to do

1. Put the "healthy" BIOS chip in the NF7 and boot up. Shutdown right after.

2. Then swap the "healthy" BIOS chip with the "unhealthy" chip, and the rig should boot up normally.

3. Then flash the BIOS and I should be good to go.

Is this right procedure?

Thanks.... :)

Nope, you need to acctually have the computer running and remove the chip and put the new one in. You cant shut it down at all.

A few modifications ... ;)

1. Put the "healthy" BIOS chip in the NF7 and boot up.

2. Then boot AWDFLASH and get ready to flash

2. Then swap the "healthy" BIOS chip with the "unhealthy" chip.

3. Then flash the BIOS, reboot, and it should be good to go.
