New Sig thread, by lalPOOO

Hurrah, I will make sigs for you like the days of old.
However the first thing I'd like to point out is that I am doing this only out of the goodness of my heart, and so the forum looks sexier. This also means that I don't always have tons of time to make sigs, so please be patient.

**Rules for Requesting a sig from me, in this thread**

1) A colour scheme or backround picture or at least something for me to design your sig around is required. While I am creative, I don't like "uh, whatever just make it look cool" If you hadn't noticed, I am not you, therefore our opinions could differ by a vast amount. If you do decide that you want me to come up with an idea for your sig, keep in mind that it will indeffiniatly be based loosly around homosexuals and/or the colour pink.

2) Please submit all your info in one organised post, with excatly what you want on the sig. (Should you upgrade in future I don't mind making changes as long as you are polite, pm me)

3) If you are unhappy/unsatisfied with my work, tell me, but do it in a considerate manor. If all you can come up with is "that sucks" or "I don't really like it" then I don't really care. Constructive criticism is readily accepted, although I may get a bit edgy after a couple revisions ;)

4) If you have a specific dimensions that you want the sig made to, include them in the post. Please note that I am not making you a gigantic sig :p: If no dimensions are given the sig will be made to a generic size.

5) Sorry for all the rules, but they are only designed to make things as easy and efficent for me (and you) as possible.

6) I am also sorry for all the spelling mistakes made in the above post. I am a terrible speller :(

Lower the quality? I got some pretty good IQ and size out of mine and its a pretty fast download (only 43k), but its not a GIF.

how do i lower the quality tho?.. i'm not sure how. omg that animated name "IamAnoobieCheez" is really taking up size.. before I add the animation, the background sig was only 10k and the size was twice as big as the current one lol... I need some way to shrink the animation in kb size.. mine was done with a MS PhotoDraw which isn't that good....

You could try Jasc's Animation program, I used it a couple years ago and it was fairly good. http://www.jasc.com/products/?
I think your main problem is the number of frames really.

that's with the lowest frames per second it allows.

however, i can decrease the animation time by half or so but my name passes by so quicky... that's not what i want... i want the name pass by slowly like shown right now..

I can save images as gifs, but I don't make moving ones.

Still pics GIFs are good files... They are small in kb size and also often have better picture quality. It's much cleaner and distinctive between colors.. only the draw back is the shortage in color depths.. GIFs can sometimes be almost as good as PNG(Portable Network Graphics) file. The PNG files are awesome.. :D very clear, crystal clean sharp, color-rich pic... PNG files can *sometimes* be extremely big in kb size.. all depends on what's on the picture. Can be smaller than JPEG or much heavier than JPEG.

sorry I didn't mean to preach.. :D I just like to talk about picture file types.. i find it interesting.. the bad thing about JPEGs is that they often put out blurry image quality... and looks *dirty* too.

I think I'll just stay with my current sig. it's kinda neat and small.. i like it. :)

What program did you use to make your sig? Try adobe photoshop. Mine is very big, with alot of animations. I don't know how to make things "scroll" but I can make them change like mine does lol. I also noticed that Jasic saves images HUGE.

i use Microsoft PhotoDraw... coz it's like only 5 buckx from school. :D i dunno if I could get me a adobe photoshop.. im sure that the photoshop is better.... any ideas where i could get it for good price? :D

You could look for a version of 6 or 7 instead of cs, as they're minimally different, and if you want to upgrade later adobe will give you an upgrade price. Generally photoshop is pretty expensive. Its not really for animations though, although you could use it to do single frames and then patch them together in another program.

actually with jasc it saves it how you specify if you want a high quality it will make it huge if i remember correctly. You can chose low medium and high been awhile since i have used either really

ends up 110x96, kept perspective so as not to alter the look.
