View Full Version : Finished upgrading my Watercooling

Heres my new watercooling loop for the chipset and GPU and just thought i'd share some pix with everyone :D
I basically upgraded it to all 1/2" tubing. And theres a new Reserviour/fill up thingy, since i broke my old one.

note the home made reserviour/fill up T joint at the back of the case. Simply made it out of plumbing parts i found at the local hardware store. :)
I havn't started the machine back up yet since i made it, so i'll post results later. Also cuz im busy since i just moved house 2 days ago.

ouw and here are the parts:
- Eheim 1250 (with 1/2" brass barbs)
- BIX (with modded 1/2" brass barbs [originally had 3/8" barbs])
- Z-chip (new 1/2" brass barbs)
- MCW50-T
- Tygon 1/2" tubing
- 1x Enermax 120mm fan
- Home made res.

wow, the tubes are amazing, i cant think of where i could get this in austria :)

That looks interesting, can you give us a couple close up shots or of the piece detached from the system?

It leaked ...so i made this one, out of metal plumbing materials.
I don't have any more pix of it atm ...if i do later i will post them up. Its basically a T join with 1/2" thread holes. Then 2 screw on barbs and a lid on the top. I might upgrade the res. soon ...to make it smaller...
