Very nice.
Also as a mach I owner myself I can say that IMO its not loud. 35db is the number I think.

Looks like a sweet overclock there.

35dB you say? Hmm, I went below that a while back and I *Still* think it's too noisy :( When the silence bug bites it's the worse of all. Especially when combined with overclocking.

Nice you got it going... :D

You have to work on the fsb though, hehe... ;)

P.S. You leave the sidepanel of the prom open? Not good...

The compressor works better with a constant airflow around it. IMO it should not get as hot a live a longer life finally. Think about it... and as Gary said, you should not slow down the fans too much as phasechange needs the airflow to perform and to decrease the risks of a failure!!!

I got a NF7 now again and I need to sink and vmod it. But no need for that atm moment. My GFX-Card pretty much sucks, so no need for benching. But I think I'll do the mods soon.

LOL...

Maybe he can own me now... only have an Infinity here atm (killed my LP B accidently) and that clocks like cr*p

I only can bench at 12x230 to 12x235... :(

Maybe next week I'll get a new one... already ordered.

Yep... besides you modded it not to have those... ;)

I could go up to 2.08V relatively stable, but with the current Infinity it's impossible to get it stable... Infinities suck. Never got a good one able to do 250 dualchannel stable...

Only the two Lanparties did. I get a new one next week...

@Tictac

Do ya really think it's good? It's an epox...

That would be the board to get. hehe... I wonder how the new via kt880 perform like... overclocking-wise ;)

When you get that the new board make sure you let us know how it performs. BTW the Infinity isn't that bad both mine will do 250 stable.

With sinked mosfets and vdimm mod, vdd mod maybe and vbt mod you'd possibly get 230fsb+ up to 250 with your ram... is your 3.3V rail modded?

I am sure you can show us better results soon :)

No, I am not exactly kidding :D

I just wanna give ya some advice...

Watch the reworked (sharper, higher res) part of your pic here... where the arrow's tip is, is this what you mean is insulation of the screw???

You'd have to cover the screw hole with a big lump of seal string! The screw head must not be visible at all!

That's what I was talking about... :)

what you need is a special pre-owned 1~ 1.5 year old Abit NF7/s v2.0 or any v1.2. The original v2.0 boards overclock like crazy(i'm talking about FSBs). First of all, it's compatible with my RAM. Second, it takes almost no mod to get the FSB up i.e. 230+FSBs(everything enabled.. CPU aggressive, APIC enabled, 128bit DC, cas222 etc) in games stability. I ain't interested in stupid 2d apps..

This is why I don't even bother getting recent release of v2.0 boards.. I just can't stand 150 FSBs on a nforce2 boards. I have to change the RAM sticks to get higher FSBs.. but I like my CorsairXMS 3500 x2 ram...

If I was to get a Abit NF7/s board, I would delibrately look for v1.2 just so I can run it damn stable at 220+FSBs in games.. the stability was... *incredible*. I fell in love with them.
