Anyone tried it? How is it? Btw, what's the best version of the KX7?

Well my friend had downloaded a editted version of the B6 bios and told me he felt a significant difference because it displayed bios options: Spread Spectrum and Spread Spectrum and they were enabled by default and according to this they should be disabled.
I'll ask him where he got the file because I got this information through a log while talking with him. If I forget (I don't visit here regularly as you can see my post count is very low), you can drop me off an e-mail at

I don't quite understand? Spread Spectrum and Spread Spectrum? that's the same option... and it displayed that in the older bios too I thought? I swear on my 9k BIOS it's there... what's it do anyway?

Sorry the second was suppose to be Auto Detect DIMM/PCI CLK.
Check the bios guide link I posted and it will tell you what they do.

Alright, I"m almost positive they were both in the bios before...? How is that any different?
