Uk Wifi users?

I was wondering if we had an wifi experts around..?

I fancy having a mess with this a home.. but dont know the 1st thing about it..

Networking aint a problem..

Its understanding the various protocols around wifi.. Any kit recommendations would be appreciated..are lynksys aby good?

My router with built in switch and 2 pc network is already running..

Im thinking of putting a directional antenna on my roof on a rotator and making it so i can use works internet connection and also my local wifi group...
