I wiped out XP and installed Windows 2000 instead.
I have to say, I do not miss XP at all(Although Win2k took a little longer to install).

Does Windows 2000 support HT? It shows me that I have 2 proccessors in task manager, but when I run 1 client of Folding, it uses 100% cpu power instead of 50%(maybe not 100% but around 86%)

Apparently you need SP3 or later for that.

Yep because When I had NO service packs installed, Windows 2000 kept using 50% of my cpu power even thouhg the system idle thread should 99% cpu power available. Install SP4 took care of that.

But I went back to Windows XP because I got a BSOD running Diablo, 2 folding clients, Office 2003, 8 Mozilla browsers.

Win2k kills WinXP. It is far more stable, hacker-proof (if at all), compatible and it don't treat you like a total n00b every time you log on. If you buy a OEM copy of Win2k, you shuld get Service Pak 4 with it (I did).

I did a little experiement

Played Diablo, ran two clients of folding, virus scan, adware scan, winamp, windows media player

within 30 seconds I got Blue Screen and crashed

Tried the same thing in XP, and it barely uses 50% of cpu power :)

Disable Hyper-Threading in the BIOS.
