After I fixed my keyboard problem I went into BIOS and found out that the Vmem only went up to 2.8v (undervolts to 2.7 sometimes:(). I thought this board was supposed to have it to 3.2v, but I think a BIOS flash will fix that right? If so could someone be so kind as to send me a link to an appropriate BIOS because for some reason I can't load the ABit site.

I just built my new system around the IT7-MAX and in my bios the memory voltage definitely goes higher than that...I have mine set at 2.9, and it seems to undervolt a bit. It shows as 2.85v when set to 2.9 .
I will reboot and go in and check. I'm not sure what BIOS Came with this board. I will check for that too.

I am running 3d apps at 3100 stable so far and don't have particularly good ram....Kingmax 2700.

I'll get back to ya,

mike

Yes I know it is a bit strange, seeing as we have the same board. Maybe mine is older and came with an older BIOS, but someone told me that none of the Abit BIOS say they have increased voltage options. I would love some extra Vcore, my mem maxes out at DDR450 with 2.7V, not too stable.

Also what is the highets Vcore setting you have mine is 1.7v, I just want to check to see if its not only the mem.

Thanks mike I look forward to a reply;)

Hey,

ok I have Bios 8H...it give me dram voltage to 3.2v.....core voltage goes to only 1.7v

I am currently running 3d mark @20x154...strap low 3:4 kingmax 2700 is doing sandra ~3155/3154

3dmark 16,428

CPU TEMP IN BIOS...47C

Cooling is with a Sunflower. Prometeia is on it's way.

Give me an idea of how this relates to your setup.

According to Abit...the first release bios was the 8H followed by 9W and finally A4.

I have no stability problems so far, but I am not maxed out and memory timings are at the most relaxed cas 2.5 3 6 3.

With better ram I can see how this board will be a great overclocker....thats why we picked it.

I just flashed to both the 9W and A4 BIOS' and still Vmem is only 3.2v! I don't understand this did I get a bad/old version of the board? Does anyone know if some versions are different?

I thought you were getting less than I was originally.3.2v is all I have ever seen anybody get with this board .
