missing icons.

I just installed my new x800 pro and tried a little overclocking...well i went a little too far and got some artifacts. I rebooted to and went back to my normal clock speeds but now i am missing some of my desktop icons. I can see the name of them under the invisible icon but thats it. everything else is running fine including 3dmark and battlefield vietnam. I remember win98 had some sort of dektop recovery in it.... does windows 2003 have anything like this or does anyone know what i can do to fix it.

P.S this isnt limited to my desktop icons.... it is like this everywhere in my file system!

Make sure you go back to stock settings, and then restart the system(not hibernate).

If that doesn't work, open a folder and goto tools and options and click "apply to all folders"
That should work.
