Ok so I'm pretty happy so far....while I wait for my new prommy to arrive, I have played around a little.

So far 3dmark 2001, 16,200. I am using Kingmax DDR 333 with a thermaltake active cooling heatspreader.

Abit IT7 max
Raid 0 2X IBM 7200 20GB
Antec 550 truepower
LianLi PC75 black window case

(Temporary) Sunflower H/S and intel fan

I have some Samsung ddr400 cas 3 ram I'd like to try, but I think I will have to flash the bios first though .
I am hoping I can get a little higher FSB with even if it means less aggressive memory timings.
I had what I thought was stability but it wouldn't do a 3d mark@
160x20....It did do it at 158 fsb last night but today the thing just kept doing a complete reboot midway through the benchmark.

Right now I have about 1.6 volts on the core which reads 1.58

I bumped the memory voltage th 2.9 and relaxed the mem timings a bit too. Iam Getting ~2450 in Sandra at 1:1 strap to low

Anyone care to help me tweak this beast to get some better scores ??

Don't know much about tweakin that thing...but congrats on that OC :)

Sounds like a nice system ;)

What are the memory settings?
You might wanna try : 2-5-2-2 and Enhanced DRAM performance set to "Enabled"
Don't know if the Kingmax will go that high but try CPU Strap Low and 3:4. Should give you a nice boost. Of course, running the memory past 200Mhz, you'll have to change the memory settings. Try 2.5-7-3-3 for a start and bump the mem voltage to 2.8 or even 2.9V.
Maybe some Corsair memory might be better than the Samsung ddr400.

I haven't tried the Samsung yet , It is cas 3 tho...don't think it will post unless I get a bios flash...apparently the new bios will accept a cas 3 module. I will try it first. Once I get it to at least post I can try for some higher bus speeds.

my 2.5a C1 makes 3150MHz on air with the MCX4000 and the cool YStech fan... silence and performance, finally!

I use those sammys and they run fine on cas 2.5, not 2 though. You should be able to easily run 160fsb with 4:5 or 3:4 ratios. Just make sure to burn those babies in.

I can run 452DDR (2.5-3-6-3) on 4:5 @ 2.9V stable (cpu limited).
