Dont know I posted this in the right forum, sorry in advance if so.
Anyways, my current problem is that I cannot read my CPU temperature
My NF7 2.0 has a broken motherboard cpu temp sensor, it reads it at -30C and never changes..
I recieved the board from Abit's RMA pool after a PSU taking out my previous NF7 1.0 (heh free upgrade)
Anyways, whats the cheapest solution to finding out what my cpu runs at..
I had set up a friends P4 system once, his Thermaltake Volcano something came with a thin diode to place on the heatsink then plug into the motherboard in the 3 pin connector, could I buy such a setup?
I would also be open to a sensor placed under the heatsink that would link to a small 1 inch LCD that just output temp in C or F... is that possible?
I'd like to get this done with as little money as possible
Thanks
