Hey peeps,

I am playing around with my multipliers and stuff just to get used to it. I currently have a reserator water cooler and will be adding a chiller soon.

I changed my multiplier from 13 to 12 and set my cvor to 1.5 I also set my frequency to 200 and boot to 2.4GHZ. It is stable. I trt to switch the multiplier to 13 and can't post. I tried 1.8 and still cannot boot. Does this mean I can't overclock anymore?

I have a soyo kt600 plat and my PC is now running at 49c on the die. When I try and manually set the CPU frequency using 1 mghz increments it does not work. I can choose 200 out of the menu and it works but If I chose 200 in the 1mhgz increments it fails.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, not sure but nForce2 chipsets are great for o/cing, maybe because of the mobo?

Get an NF7-S or dfi Infinity motherboard.

The Dfi is a better board if you are not going to mod. Depending on what components you have, Dfi vdimm max is like 3.2v and NF7-s is 2.85v. For the Dfi, you will get a higher fsb o/c than the NF7-s.

I started off at 2.1 something so I was able to achieve 2.4 ghz at 12x at 1.75v. My BIOS allows me to either chose a preset frequency, I chose a preset of 200 mhz, or to set your frequenzy at 1 mhz intervals. I tried manuall settig the frequency at 200 using the 1mhz increments and I would get a coupld of beeps and no video. I set the FSB to 100 using 1mhz increments and it booted to 1.0GHZ. I am confused as to why I can boot at a frequency of 200 if I chose the preset option but cannot boot to the same frequenzy if I manuall set it. Any ideas?

Also can someone explain the CPU to PCI devider, DRAM:AGP:PCI clock, and DRAM clock to me.

Thanks in advance peeps. I am trying to learn but it seems like my mobo isn't acting the way I thought it would.

I can't really offer advice as I don't have that board. I was wondering though how well that Zalman Reserator cools. What are your temps: 2.4GHz, 1.74 vcore....

I went from about 62c to 47c.
