Can anyone recommend some easy to find tubing that can handle -50c temps? Only stuff I have found has to be ordered from out of state and is almost 5 bucks a foot.

What would be good (and not too expensive) to use for insulation of the 1/2" tygon?

Neoprene would work great at 0.75 of an inch, half an inch minimum.

That might get a tad pricy though. Just go to home depot and get some good insulation there. Its very cheap and does the job no problem.
