I have 2 80 gig WD 8mb cache 7.2 rpm on Raid 0 for a total of 148 gigs.
I split it into 2 partitions. The first partition which is the boot partition was given 20 gigs and the second partition for data was given 128 gigs.

Since I reinstall XP like every 2 weeks, I would like to create an image of partition 1 and just restore partition 1 whenever I feel like it.

I tried using Ghost gdisk.exe by booting to it but I cant because I have raid.

How do i create an image then?

also, newest and not newest works from windows. it will see the partition / drive and automatically get all the drivers and whatnot it needs to perform the operation. only problem u have is when u reinstall if ur not doing it from windows. this is what i do.

i have a 1gb old ide hard drive with a bare windows install on it, ghost and antivirus. all of my backups, and software backups are on my other drive. when i want to restore my sata raid array i plug in all my drives and select it to boot from my lame 1gb windows xp drive, go to ghost and tell it what to do, after its done restoring take out lame hdd, configure bios for how u want it to boot and u done
