OK, I'm about to buy some RAM (512MB Apacer 333Mhz, 5ns... it'd better be good DDTUNG ;)) but I know I will upgrade sooner or later....

So, I was thinking about buying just another 256MB stick, and keeping my current one. When Granite Bay comes along, I can get another motherboard and be set until the Prescott comes.

What would you do? I'm on a strict budget, so like, every month and half, I can upgrade if necessary.

Yeah, PC3500 is said to have 5ns ram.

This info is taken right off of the spec sheet found here (http://www.corsairmicro.com/main/products/specs/cmx256a-3500c2.pdf)

NEWEGG (www.newegg.com) has some 512 sticks

Damn, most of that stuff is twice as much as the Apacer.... I'm gonna look for some at the fair on the 13th, if I don't find anything, I geuss I'll just buy a 3500 stick, cuz hopefully they'll have reviews out by then.

Where is the fair on the 13th?

The Cogan Fairs are not really good for memory. The prices suck and there are no returns.

The fairs are good for CPUs and peripherals.
