New CPUiD:
A new version of H Oda's WCPUiD is out and about. I have currently posted it below for the time being. The file is around 225KB in size.


Version 3.1 (Build 1088) 09/29/2002
Supported Many New CPU. (New Celeron etc...)
Supported Many New ChipSet/VGA.
Source Code Compatible with Linux.HERE (http://www.hardocp.com/files/wcpu310.zip)

btw there's this new program i found
www.cpuid.com

give it a go, it shows more stuff than WCPUID - tells u ram timings etc as well :)

It seems cool, but apparently has a few bugs. It says "yes" for Hyperthreading support on my old 2.26b. It also shows my corsair xms3200c2 as PC2600.

well that's the conspiracy theory - all northwoods have HT support but just currently disabled
