I jsut installed windows 64bit on my system to give it a try. Now I'm trying to install the programs back on the drive and its not letting me. I did not format, but just installed 64bit on top of xp pro. The files are all still there on the c drive, but it is not allowing me to re-install any of the programs. Trying to install Norton Systemworks give me the error "invalid product key" when I am copying it straight off the retail sleeve. What am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to get this and programs like Office and Outlook to work on the new 64 bit?

Thanks in advance

I think the 64 bit OS still is "trial" and not safe to use on regulair basis.

I think you must make a dual og multiboot system. Then you can have your XP and your programs. And sometimes boot into a 64 bit OS to try that.

Not many 32 program run perfeckt on 64 OS for now.

I have this:

Bootmannager:

WinXP
Win2000
WinAMD2003 64 bit
Win2003 32 bit
Win XP 64 bit.

Its most fun and fastest in 2003 64 bit.
