BTW - I take it thats with your 2.8....
Are you having the same power problems as me? Ive sussed out I can run 3.5ghz @ 1.47v actual, but it takes 1.74v actual to run 3.6ghz because of the power spikes.
The IT7 just cant handle the power drain of 3.5ghz plus. We need a better board.
Im considering the sis 648 chipset (native 166fsb should ensure being able to run 175 plus), but id really like to get hold of a Via P4PB 400 FL truth be told. Ive found a soltek board with this chipset, but no raid.....
May have to get a highpoint raid card.

PiLsY. power is all over the place m8 although i havent pin modded it yet to allow that bit extra...the thing that worries me though is a 431w enermax is only powering board/chip/graphics and hdd and getting the power spikes.. im actually thinking of an epox to try ( i like em).....
And a big thanks guys for the encouragement still early days for this chip though so hopefully gonna get some more out of it in near future

everyone else thanks for the kind words of encouragement the score was acheived with a straight install of windows with just the performance setting done along with drivers and needed proggys so with tweaking and a pelt on the radeon there should be more to come

nice majormav, but what about the temperatures? do you use normal watercooling system to cool down the hot side of the peltier?

got a 20 gallon tank used to use ice like this with the amd chips but not done it with p4 rig ..... might be a good idea to try though

Pilsy the FSB limit on the SIS 648 boards appears to be around 150mhz they crap out at anything above that. I know a few people who have tried them!
