Ive tried quite a few of the different distro's of linux. All have pushed me to the limits of chucking the computer out the window. However, it is worth learning, so I keep trying.

Lindows, is a pain. I had it once, and couldnt even get it to install correctly. Ive installed several different versions. Which you can find the ISO's of nearly every kind here (http://www.linuxiso.org/). Although I do know of one that is not listed there, and is pretty difficult to get used to and that one is found here (http://undeadlinux.org/evile/about.php). That one, is a little odd, but has some pretty nice looks/feel to it. Although a bit more difficult to try out on first time around.

IMO, The best distrobutions to go for on your first shot at it would be either, Mandrake, Redhat, SuSe or Lycoris. Ive heard Lycoris isnt all that, but Ive also heard its pretty easy to pick up on. Not sure personally havent tried it.

As well as a few links for you if you do go for it. ;)

I need to start reading up more on this too, Ive started a RedHat course recently, barely 2/3 weeks into it and Ive learned quite a bit. Even with more way over my head!! LoL
