Power Supplies

I have finally found an online retailer in Canada for Fortron power supplies. They have a few models and am unsure which one would be my best bet.

Fortron/Source FSP550-60PLN 550W w/ Active PFC & Noise Killer
Fortron/Source FSP530-60GNA 530W Dual Fan ATX
Fortron/Source FSP400-60PFN 400W w/ Active PFC & Noise Killer
Fortron/Source CK400 400W Silent Cooling Kit


Thanks and I know that this is probably getting tiring as far as answering these questions. But I would really appreciate your input.

Actually nevermind, it ended up being an american site. Does anyone know where to get Fortron power supplies in Canada?

I checked a couple of sites, all seem to be US only, you could try the Euro/UK sites, many have sparkle psu's which I believe are the same.

you could also get someone in the US to order it for you, I'd offer but you don't know me; maybe you have an american you trust? (wouldnt recommend our pres, doesnt seem trustworthy:D )

i'd say go with the 550w wichever you'ld prefer, looks like the new video cards are gunna suck allot of juice, im also pretty darn sure that fortrons and sparkles are the same

I found a place in Canada that sells sparkle power supplies.....

Sparkle FSP550-60PLG 24-pin 550 Watt ATX Power Supply OEM (2.03 ATX PS, P4 Ready)

Does it sound like that one should be good? And It has adjustable pots like the fortron power supplies as well?

The 550w Fortron is for server boards and requires a 24 to 20 pin adapter if you want to use it on a non-server board. Just get the FSP530.
