I would use CPUID instead http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
My motherboard sometimes in rare cases drops the fsb by 1mhz, so instead of my processor being 3000mhz, it goes to something like 2999.95mhz lol and CPUID reports the fsb speed and cpuclock.
